The purpose of the Salt Lake County Department of Human Services is to make a positive difference in the lives of Salt Lake County residents.

 

The mission of the Salt Lake County Department of Human Services is to develop and promote:

  • programs and services which improve the quality of life in the County and are economical, effective, and accessible;
  • programs and services which foster individual, family, and community responsibility;
  • leadership toward effecting positive change and creative problem solving in the community;
  • quality programs and services which benefit all County residents;
